Four Machines In OneThe many adjustment options help the motion simulate more comfortable versions of other favorite activities. Lower ramp levels can feel like cross-country skiing or walking or running on a treadmill. Higher ramp levels can produce a an efficient, comfortable, cycling or stairclimbing motion.

Smart Rate™ - A different color indicator shows when the user's heart rate is above, below, or within the user's ideal weight loss or cardiovascular training zone. To activate Smart Rate, the user must wear the heart rate chest strap.

A Manual course allows the user to control ramp incline, resistance and pace.

8 Programmed courses provide hill, valley, and interval training through ramp changes. The user selects resistance level and determines pace.

• The steel frame is welded at all structural support points for strength and stability, so it will withstand even the most rigorous workouts. At 81" x 20" (206 x 51 cm), the EFX™544's footprint is smaller than that of a standard commercial treadmill.
• Padded steel handlebars allow a wide variety of comfortable hand positions.
• Cast aluminum foot plates, which are 14" x 7.25" (35 x 18 cm), have a slip-resistant, textured surface.
• The eddy current resistance system is frictionless, so it's extremely durable and requires no maintenance. It provides years of smooth, quiet, and dependable performance. A spring tensioned pivot mount automatically maintains proper belt tension, eliminating the need to ever tighten the belt.
• The 1.25" (3 cm) diameter, stainless steel ramp bar allows the steel foot plate arms to glide smoothly. Ten ramp positions range from 10º to 30º.
• Two 50 lb., 22" (23 kg, 55 cm), cast-iron flywheels, sized to achieve ideal inertia, produce the EFX544's smooth, even motion. Self-locking bushings attach them to the steel main axle. The system is engineered to withstand the loads and high torque of heavy commercial use.
• Rugged urethane wheels, which have case-hardened steel shafts and long-lasting needle bearings, move the foot nplate arms smoothly along the ramp.
• The sturdy, high-impact casing is attractive and easy to clean.
• The strong poly-V belt, which connects the flywheel arms to the flywheel, transmits tremendous power without stretching or breaking.
